What is Activate Kids?

  • Activate Kids is a video-based biblical worldview curriculum designed to help children ages 6–12 build a strong foundation in God's Word. Through engaging video lessons, games, crafts, object lessons, and family activities, students learn how to recognize truth, apply Scripture to everyday life, and confidently live out their faith.

What ages is Activate Kids designed for?

  • Activate Kids is recommended for children ages 6–12. The lessons are designed to be engaging for this age range, but families with children of different ages can complete the curriculum together.

What topics does Activate Kids cover?

  • Each of the five units focuses on an important biblical truth that is increasingly being challenged in today's culture: The authority of God’s Word, Marriage and Family, Sanctity of Human Life, Religious Freedom, and Biblical Stewardship. The curriculum equips children to understand what the Bible teaches and how to respond with truth, confidence, and love.

Do I need to complete the units in order?

  • No. Each unit is designed to stand on its own. However, Unit 1 lays a strong foundation by helping children understand why they can trust the Bible, making it an excellent place to begin.

What's included with each unit?

  • Each unit includes:

    · Engaging video lessons

    · Student Workbook

    · Parent/Leader Guide

    · DVD containing all lesson videos

    · Online video access through your Activate account

    · Interactive games, crafts, object lessons, and family activities

Do I need teaching experience?

  • Not at all! Activate Kids is designed to be easy for parents, grandparents, Sunday school teachers, and small group leaders to use. The Parent/Leader Guide walks you through each lesson step by step. While no teaching experience is required, you'll be encouraged to share what God has done in your own life as you lead meaningful conversations with the children you are teaching.

How much preparation is required?

  • Very little. Most lessons require minimal preparation. Some crafts and games involve a little advance setup, but clear instructions are provided in the Parent/Leader Guide.

What supplies will I need?

  • Most activities use common household or classroom supplies. If a lesson requires additional materials, the Parent/Leader Guide includes convenient shopping links or suggestions for where to purchase them.

Can I use Activate Kids with multiple children?

  • Yes! The curriculum works well for children of different ages learning together. While the content is designed for ages 6–12, families often enjoy completing the activities as a group.

Can churches or small groups use Activate Kids?

  • Absolutely! Activate Kids works wonderfully in Sunday school classes, children's church, homeschool co-ops, and small groups. The family activities and games can easily be adapted for larger groups. Simply purchase additional Student Workbooks for each child participating.

Is Activate Kids connected to the adult Activate Worldview course?

  • Yes. Each Activate Kids unit corresponds with a unit in the adult Activate Worldview course, allowing parents and children to study the same topics together. However, both curricula also work perfectly as standalone studies.

How do I access the videos?

  • Each unit includes a DVD containing all of the lesson videos. You'll also receive online access through your Activate account, allowing you to stream the videos whenever it's convenient.

Are the units sold together or separately?

  • Each of the five units is sold separately. Unit 1 is currently available, and more units will be released in the coming months.

What makes Activate Kids different from other Bible studies?

  • Activate Kids goes beyond teaching Bible stories. It equips children to develop a biblical worldview by addressing important topics that many curricula avoid. Every lesson presents biblical truth in an age-appropriate, engaging, and relatable way, preparing children to confidently navigate peer pressure and cultural challenges while standing firm in their faith.
